02Fixing and cladding

Fixing is in our name.

Aluminium & Glass Fixing Specialists. Frames, glazing and cladding are set, sealed and adjusted on site, whether they came out of the Pehesara workshop or were supplied by the builder.

No two openings are the same size. The frame that fills one should not be either.

Two glass towers seen from the street, rising into a pale sky.

Every frame is cut to the opening it will fill, so the gaps a standard size leaves behind never have to be packed with sealant.

03Choosing a window

How it opens decides everything else.

The same opening can take any of these five. Each one is right somewhere and wrong somewhere else, and the table says where.

Five window types compared: how far each opens, how it closes against rain, the room it needs, whether it gives air in light rain, and what it suits.

04How a job runs

From a photo on your phone to a fitted frame.

  1. 01

    Talk

Send photographs and rough sizes on WhatsApp, or call. Say what each opening is for and what you have in mind.

  2. 02

    Measure

Each opening is measured on site at three points across and three up, and the walls are checked for level and square.

  3. 03

    Drawing and quote

Every opening is drawn with its size, how it opens, the glass and the finish, and priced against the drawing.

  4. Hands guiding a drill into a length of metal bar.

    04

    Fabrication

The aluminium sections are cut, drilled and joined to the drawing, and the glass is cut to the frame it goes into.

  5. 05

    Fitting

Frames are fixed, sealed and glazed on site, and every sash and door is run open and shut before it is handed over.

The quote list

Send every size in one message.

List each opening, its width and height, how it should open, the glass and the finish. The quote list turns it into one tidy WhatsApp message, and it adds up the glass area as you go.

W: smallest of 3H: smallest of 3
Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom, and the height at both sides and the centre. Keep the smallest of each.
